SO...that title was pretty cliche I know, but it's true...in a sense. Let me explain, I had been considering the fact that I really didn't like the direction in which my previous blog was headed so on a whim I deleted it and completely re-vamped. I was worried that I wouldn't have a good jumping off point for the start of this new endeavor and then I reminded myself to just be myself and voila....DEATH occurred! My very very new boyfriend Erik and I (yes,it's official GAW) decided to buy a fish at Wal-Mart (at 10 p.m. mind you)...then after the "fish" guy expressed that almost every fish we wanted needed...well...to put it bluntly, way too much upkeep than I was willing to apply considering I already have a dog and roommates, we decided on fresh water crabs! Excitedly we diligently picked out rocks and the perfect bowl (we seriously discussed size ratio and decorative inserts for like an hour) and food etc. Then, we brought them home and seriously stared at them for about an hour until finally retiring for bed. Then tonight after hours of staring at the computer screen I decided to take a break and literally said to Erik "I'm going to go say "Hi" to the crabbies," moments later I appeared glum faced...they were up-turned and unresponsive!!! Only moments later would I know the cause of death....

Erik decided they might need to..."warm up" a bit and placed them directly next to the space heater....
I'm assuming momentarily they were dead...
Tomorrow off to buy a Beta :D
